I’d first like to clarify that God did not say your name to me, to give me a special message for you, but I believe this was inspired by Him in some kind of way.
How are you and how has the year been?
It has been exciting for me, although I’m still trying to figure out how to prioritize all the things I need to do.
Let me know how you’re doing.
I used to be hesitant to say, “God told me”. I’d ask myself questions like, “So, what if it wasn’t God?”, “What if it was my mind?”, “What if the thought came because I was brooding on the subject before now?”
I tried and still try, sometimes, to use logic to analyze God’s message.
Actually, this email is not to debate whether I hear God or not. It is to call your attention to the fact that we always hear – from friends, family, random people, social media, spirits, and God, of course.
Sometimes, we have a choice to listen and other times, we do not.
Point is, we hear stuff sha.
I want to tell you for free, that all the times I believed God spoke to me, I found out with evidence that He really did speak, and so, I can say it is best to listen to Him. I, however, cannot say the same about all the people that surround me.
When people tell you stuff, advise you to do things in one way or suggest solutions to you, it becomes your responsibility to analyze what they have said to you and decide if to put it to use or not.
Most importantly, when they make pronouncements over you, it is your responsibility to accept or reject what they say. What do you do when someone curses you, for instance? Tell me.
Do not believe crap just because someone close to you said it. If it is crap, it is crap. Dump it, reject it, trash it, rebuke it, whatever. Just don’t accept or believe nonsense talk.
I’ll ask you, who told you that thing you currently believe about yourself? Who told you?
p.s. God to me = Jesus
